Staff Meeting indicated a need for regular evaluation of ESU staff by administration.
In addition to administration evalauiton, we may consider an activity using PLC's to encourage staff to be responsible for professional growth and responsibility (i.e. professional development).
Develop a formative instrument for administrative evaluation that will work across all job descriptions in the ESU. As an activity we may want to develop this instrument. Curently their is a statewide pilot for an instrument for principal-teacher evaluation.
ESU Staff Members are the starting point of promoting the ESU and the services available. Showing pride and commitment to ESU 17 will help to build the reputation of our agency. Having a balance between services to schools and allegiance to the ESU is an integral part of promoting and building our agency.
Leadership Team made the decision to change ratings on standards 2.5 & 2.6 to reflect continuity between standards and to reflect discussion at Leadership Team and Staff meetings. This makes communication more consistent throughout the process.
